Ok for this almost last challenge! We had to use the colors pink, green and black.
Create a Critter Cartridge, Stickles, Scraps of Recollections paper and My Pink Stamper's Tweetie Hoo Puns (love this set) and scallop punches.
This card is for my girlfriend and coworker who recently broke her leg on a spring break Mission Trip in Mexico (she's going to be fine though)

A Project with a pet. This one is especially dear to me. Stefanie (our oldest daughter, now 25) and her first horse "Country" It was a surprise for Christmas when she was 13. Wow, what a trip down memory lane.
I pulled out the Old West Cartridge for this one.

Cartridges used: Doodlecharms for the popsicle, Just Because cards for "You Make Me Melt", and Martha Stewart Loopy Punch.

Make a scrapbook page. I decided to quickly put together a 2 page layout of some Yosemite pictures taken a while back.
Kept it simple with the mountain cut from Destinations cartridge (I need more camping carts!), matted the photos with Recollections paper, and the font is from Plantin Schoolbook.

Tag Challenge. I have to say I love making tags. So many options for every occasion.
I used the Country Life cartridge for the hen, DCWV Crafty Stack, scallop punch and My Pink Stamper's Tweety Hoo Puns.
I thought this would be a great tag to add to a gift for a girlfriend.

I used a paint can (from Joannes), Cupcake Cricut Lite Cartridge and vinyl.
Super quick project for a birthday gift. I continued the cupcake theme with the gifts inside.

Time for another project! This challenge:to create a Mother's Day project.
I made this card for my dear sister in law who really has been like a mother to my husband for many years.
I used the Mother's Day Seasonal Cartridge, DCWV Cafe Mediterranean Stack, half pearls, Nestabilities and some ribbon from Joannes.

This challenge is close to everyone's heart. A project with a breast cancer theme. We have all been touched by this one way or another. I made this i mind with a friend's daughter in law who has been fighting breast cancer.
The banner was from the Cricut Lite Carousel Cartridge. I added some prima flowers too.

National Scrapbook Day! My Pink Stamper's Challenge #2

Challenge #2: Use Kraft Cardstock in our project.
I decided to use Robyn's Fruit and Veggie Puns Stamp Set and the Preserves Cartridge. I used the card feature for the strawberry cut as well as the strawberry that I ran through my Cuttlebug usig the Swiss Dots folder. Simple stitching with a white gel pen and a ribbon. Super quick and easy.

Cupcake theme! How fun is this one. I used the Birthday Bash Cartridge and of course Robyn's Cupcake Stamp Set. I recently got this one and have been looking forward to using it. My challenge to myself was to use only scraps! A couple of scallop punches, white gel pen and Glossy Accents on the cherry.

Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge #50!

Wow, what a fun sketch this was! It wasn't as easy as I thought though. This card was made for a girlfriend's daughter who just graduated from Basic Training at Lackland AFB in Texas. We are so proud of her. She is on to training and applying for OTS. She went in with 3 college degrees at just 22 years old. (can you tell I'm proud of her:)
This challenge included following the sketch provided, but the twist was to use metal.
I made all of the cuts with the Stand and Salute Cartridge, paper from DCWV Metalic Stack and some ribbon with little silver studs in it. I kept it simple with the Corner Chomper, silver star brads and the Cuttlebug. The inside of the card says "Home of the Brave" The colors are really red, white, blue, silver, metalic blue. The photo just didn't come out :(

Another Mother's Day Card!

I tend to make many many Mother's Day projects and cards. For years I have made sure that family and my girlfriends receive a little something on this day. I always think of the sacrifices moms make on a daily basis, no matter what!
This simple card was made with the Indie Art Cartridge. I cut the butterfly shadow once, and the butterfly twice so there would be extra dimension. (I have to thank Courtney Lane Designs for this idea, I saw it on her blog quite awhile ago). I inked with several distress inks, scallop punch, and used the IRock Tool with some little gems. Emma's Mom You Rock Stamp Set finished it off.

More Gardening with vinyl! And a Linky Party at Craft Junkie Too!

Ok, so I had to decorate 3 pots for my little cart my sister gave me years ago. I just love putting little pots filled with simple flowers on it.
Tracy over at Craft Junkie Too has a Linky Party each Friday and we're all invited to post a project.
I used Walk in My Garden Cartridge and more scraps of vinyl. (I purchased the "value pak" of vinyl at "Oh My Crafts" for a reasonable price over a year ago and still have some left.) I planned the cuts around the colors I had available and the cuts are super simple to do. The clay pots are from Walmart, less than $2 each and a couple of "six pak" flowers from the garden section. I plan to add some details with puff paint sometime soon. So whole project for around $7!
Now, just have to remember to water them!
