"It's a Spring Thing" Challenge at Exploring Cricut and More!

Good Morning and Happy Monday Everyone.
I am excited to share a new challenge with you  over at Exploring Cricut and More!

This week we are to create a spring themed project and it must include a flower. How easy is that??

For my project I decided  to use some of my vinyl scraps to embellish a watering can I have in the back yard.
I used the Forever Young & Freshly Picked Cartridges to create this quick and easy project.

Flower image from the Forever Young Cartridge cut at 4.5"
it is "flower 6" found on page 69 using the shift key and layer feature

"Grow" phrase found on the Freshly Picked Cartridge p. 60 using the phrase feature and cut
 at 1.75"
I couldn't resist adding a few rhinestones.

Working with vinyl is so fun and rewarding as the finished project  always looks great. It allows us to still use our favorite images when using paper isn't an option. (wall decor...outdoors..etc.)

Now be sure to head on over to Exploring Cricut and More! to see some wonderful inspiration created by our wonderful Design Team.

Thank you for stopping by today and have a wonderful week.

Simple Plant Markers for Exploring Cricut and More!

Hello and happy Friday.
Today I am sharing a quick project I made for Exploring Cricut and More!
We have been busy with projects since moving into our home, and planting and gardening are high priorities around here!
I was able to get my herbs in the ground outside the kitchen, but I also love to have a few little pots indoors for quick snips here and there.

I used the Freshly Picked Cartridge to create these little signs.

All images cut at 3.25" using the "sign" feature
sprout p.35
parsley p. 38
sage p.39
thyme p.41
spice p.44
fresh p.45

I embossed the signs and added a little embellishment like some Glitter Glue and stitching. I couldn't resist using my little butterfly punch to add some dimension to the project.
Since they are inside, I didn't worry about covering them with clear contact paper or laminating them, which is what I usually do if I make for the outside.

Easter Challenge at Exploring Cricut and More!

Good Morning everyone. I am so excited to share today's projects with you.
It's time for  a new challenge over at Exploring Cricut and More!
This week we are to create an Easter project of our choice and include a frame and an embellishment of some sort.

I used the Create a Critter Cartridge to make a set of tags to decorate Easter baskets.

Each of the "critters" were cut at 2.5" including all of the layers.
For my "frames" I "stitched" around the tags with a gel pen.
I had fun adding some embossing, Stickels, ribbons and jewels and Distress inks.

Thank you for stopping by today. Be sure and visit Exploring Cricut and More! for some more inspiration and all of the Challenge details.
Have a wonderful day.

"Home Sweet Home" note cards for Exploring Cricut and More!

Hello and welcome  to my little crafty blog. Wishing you a wonderful Friday and a relaxing weekend.
Our move is finally over and what a relief!
I am posting for Exploring Cricut and More! A wonderful blog with daily creations, ideas, tips and challenges too. Our Design Team creates crafty projects that are sure to inspire.

Today I am sharing a set of "Home Sweet Home" cards I have made to attach to some thank you gifts for our amazing friends and family who helped us move!

I found some wonderful little treasures on the Zoobaloo Cricut Cartridge.
The house was cut at 2.25"
The tree at 2.5"

The sun came from the Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge and I cut it at 1.75" without the layers

The clouds are from My Creative Time as well as the sentiment.

All cardstock is from PTI and patterned paper from a Kelley Purkey 6x6 pad and DCWV.
I did a bit of inking and added some twine. The little house is adhered with two layers of foam tape for some extra dimension. There are eight cards all together so each is just a bit different.

Thank you for stopping by my little blog today and have a wonderful weekend. Please stop back by on Monday for a fun new challenge at Exploring Cricut and More
