Wacky Wednesday Color Challenge!

I love challenges, they are a great motivator to find the time to create. I know I should just do it, but nevertheless, I love the inspiration. This challenge included using the colors pink, brown, teal and cream.
This frame was in my collection of stuff and thought it would be fun to dress it up a bit. I have to say that as the years go by, I cherish the relationships with my girlfriends more and more!
I used some Cuttlebug folders (they are the new ones, don't know much about them, but this tag set cut and embossed several different styles at once), lots of flowers, mostly prima, fibers, ink and the sentiments are from PBD "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" set.

Wacky Wednesday Challenge #38 Anything Goes!

Anything goes for this Wacky Wednesday Challenge at More Than Favors.
I helped a girlfriend with her daughter's Sweet 16 party and made a few goodies.
The banner was from Country Life, the cupcakes from Cupcakes Lite Cartridge, and the "16" from Sweet Treats Cartridge.

Wacky Wednesday Challenge #37

Hi all, wow what a scrapbooking, crafting, creating week it has been. I love it!
This week over at Paula's More than Favors we had to create a Mother's Day Project.
My Mother's Day was terrific with 4 out of our 5 children for dinner, my grandson, a couple of nieces, sister in law and significant others:) We missed my son Adam as he is working in Texas for a few months:( He was a sweet son and called to chat. It was a great day with hubby giving me some down time to create (and I did).
This project was for my sister in law who we get to see each weekend at family dinner. I decided that in addition to a few other goodies we gave to her, a decorated bottle of wine would just be perfect! I have to say, this is a great project for any occasion. On Saturday I decorated two other bottles for a bridal shower I attended using the Sweethearts Cart bride and groom atire. For this one I just used some scraps, prima flowers and a sentiment from My Creative Time's Mom You Rock Stamp Set.

Wacky Wednesday #36

This week is a color challenge. I have been gardening and planting so I thought I would use up some vinyl scraps and decorate some otherwise ordinary pots.
I used Walk in My Garden Cartridge. I love this cartridge, easy cuts, no layers, just the shift button. Great for vinyl.

Wacky Wednesday #35

Here are a few Easter goodie bags I put together for the Wacky Wednesday Challenge this week. Visit More Than Favors to play along!
I used the Easter Seasonal Cartridge for the bunnies, Cuttlebug folders, wrapped some mini candy bars, the "got chocolate" sentiments came from The Cutting Cafe.

Wacky Wednesday #34

Happy Tuesday! Work week busy, "springbreak" sorta for kids, Sara is able to do some fun things with friends and swim started too, planning a little getaway towards the end of the week too!
The challenge was to make a gift box theme. This is going to be for my sister, as her birthday is coming up.I have wanted to try the cake box from Tie the Knot Cartridge (I loved the scallop edges). The paper is the Botanical stack from DCWV, red satin ribbon, half pearls, glimmer mist, prima flowers, tags cut from Tags, Bags, Boxes & More Cartridge. I glimmer misted the tags and crumpled them, inked everything added some fibers and the sentiments were from some embellishments from my scrapbooking goodies.

Wacky Wednesday! Something Funny

In honor of April Fool's Day, the Wacky Wednesday Challenge over at Paula's More Than Favors Blog is to make something to make us smile! Well, wine and good friends are a good combination for that!
For this simple card I used Nestabilities, Recollections solid paper, DCWV Old World Stack, Clear Stamps Wine Lover's Set, Pink By Design Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Stamp Set, half pearls, Cuttlebug, Memento Ink.

Wacky Wednesday #29 Color Challenge

This color challenge included using purple, green and yellow. What perfect spring colors. I am working on a little "brag book" for a baby gift so this was a perfect way to get a page completed! I used my Your Story Photo to bind the book.
The bird was cut from Create a Critter Cart, the frame from Cindy Loo Cart; paper from Nana's Baby Girl stack DCWV, stickles and a little half pearl.
