Today is such a super day because it's my day to post over at Exploring Cricut.
Be sure to check out this wonderful blog devoted to all things Cricut.
For my projects I am posting some goodies I made for one of my girlfriends granddaughter's first birthday party.
I used the Once Upon a Princess Cartridge to create these 3D projects.
The wands were cut at 9" using some Recollections glitter paper from Joannes (open stock). I tried to find the sturdiest paper so they would be sure to hold up to a kid's party. I also used my deep cut blade for these, it made all the difference in the cuts. I highly recommend it.
After assembling them it was time to add some bling and make them princess worthy!
This was the fun part... Lots of gems, stickles, glossy accents ribbon and tule.
Truly magical.
Next, I made a little purse using the same cartridge.. This was cut using the fit to page feature including the layers. The flowers came from the Doodlecharms Cartridge. I cut alot of them using the border feature and just cut them apart. I just layered them with a little brad.
Finally the banner. Now this was super quick to create. I used the Pretty Pennants Cartridge and Storybook Cartridge for the font. I added some of the flowers I had created for the little purse. I wish the pictures of the banner would have turned out, but this is all I could get. It really was quite cute.
Thanks for stopping by.
