For today's project I am sharing a couple of embellished bags I made for two baby showers I recently attended.
I used the Nursery Tales cartridge and my Cricut Imagine.
Aren't these images just yummy! Hard to believe I started with white cardstock! The images were cut at 3" using the layer feature. I would love to have cut them bigger, but I needed them to fit on my bag. I inked the edges and ran them through my Cuttlebug. The background paper on the bag is from DCWV baby girl stack and I used my Fiskars Treading Water punch.
I created a little "clothesline" using some twine and added the polk a dot bows because they were just so cute. I love the mini clothespins too. Such a perfect embellishment.
Another tip when I am making these bags: I try to make the background paper easily removable (you could just cut around it too) so that the design can be used as part of a scrapbook layout. Just add it to a 12x12 piece of paper, add photos and journaling and that's it!
