Each year I create a Mother's Day project that I give out not only to my mom and sisters, but several other moms (some friends, some family) who are really special to me. I started this back in 2000 when we were spending each Mother's Day at the County Fair with our kids who were showing their animals in 4H. It was a four day fair and Sunday (Mother's Day) was the last day and we were very ready for the end as stall duty started at 6:00am! I will always treasure those memories and even though our County Fair days are over, I still continue the tradition of my Mother's Day goodies.
This year's theme was strawberries. I decided it would be fun to do some canning , so here in the valley it is strawberry season and homemade strawberry jam is delicious. Along with the jam, I found a recipe for Friendship Scone mix and decided that would make a wonderful addition to my little package. I finished off with a card made from PTI cardstock, stamps and dies. The Mother's Day sentiment is from My Creative Time's Mom You Rock Set.
I thought this would be fun to Link Up over at Pink Cricut

What a sweet, thoughtful gift. I love the card and the idea of the homemade jam and scone mix. I found your blog on the Pink Cricut site and couldn't wait to come see your work. I'm having fun checking out the rest of your projects. I'm now a new follower an I'll be checking in with you often.
