Hello everyone! Spring has arrived! And what better way to welcome spring than with a sweet little spring themed paper crafting project?
Today is my day to post over at Exploring Cricut and More! If you haven't checked out the blog in awhile, you must stop by and check out the new changes! The DT does a wonderful job of providing lots of daily crafty inspiration and tips too.
Today's project is an altered gift bag for a niece who is having a birthday this week.
I started with the DCWV Dear Jane Stack. Lovely florals and vintage designs make up this beautiful paper stack.
I used the Freshly Picked and Elegant Edges cartridges for the images and backgrounds.
Rose bush found on page 30 cut at 8.0" including the layers
"Freshly Picked" sign on page 48 cut at 2.75" including layer
Background shapes cut from Elegant Edges.
Image found on page 67and cut once at 8.0" and again at 9.0" using the Shadow feature.
I did a little embossing, inking and added a few embellishments to finish it off.
Thank you for stopping by my little blog today. Have a wonderful weekend.
