For today's post I am sharing the "take-home goodies" I made for our Thanksgiving celebration.
I used the Cloud 9 paper again and made "apple cider sliders". I had fun with these quick and easy favors. I searched You Tube for the hot chocolate version and substituted the apple cider packets.
Pretty simple, start with a 5x8 1/2 piece of paper, decide how many layers and decor you want for the front and have some fun! I cut a few layers with the Nestabilities Deckled Edge set, then added a stamp from Gooseberry Patch Harvest Celebration and the sentiment is from Emma's Holiday stamp set. So fun to ink it up a bit and attach it with an itty bitty clothespin (I love these). The ribbon is from Walmart's clearance section. I thought the sheer brown and polk-a-dots would be a fun touch.
I am going to submit this over at Paper Playtime's Challenge #61: Say it with Sentiments.

I hope your holiday plans are coming together nicely. My Wednesday is my food prep day: the list is long...And my sister in law is coming to dinner tonite with her two grown kids and "significant others"....So I will have an extra post with the place cards and treats I created for this Thanksgiving Eve impromptu dinner.
I have to say that having the opportunity to have them all together will be so fun. 3 out of the 5 of our kids will be there too. They know that Uncle Thomas and Aunt Donna host Thanksgiving dinner as well and are totally on board with pitching in for that prep too, they are wonderful!
