I love challenges, they are a great motivator to find the time to create. I know I should just do it, but nevertheless, I love the inspiration. This challenge included using the colors pink, brown, teal and cream.
This frame was in my collection of stuff and thought it would be fun to dress it up a bit. I have to say that as the years go by, I cherish the relationships with my girlfriends more and more!
I used some Cuttlebug folders (they are the new ones, don't know much about them, but this tag set cut and embossed several different styles at once), lots of flowers, mostly prima, fibers, ink and the sentiments are from PBD "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" set.

Red, White, & Blue Challenge! Pink By Design
We have some new neighbors who just moved in and thought I would make some cookies to take over while we introduce ourselves. I used the Sweet Treats cartridge for the cupcake holder (turned cookie holder) the flowers and the tag. I used the "Tags and Treats" stamp set by PBD.
Happy Memorial Day everyone!

Throwback Thursday Challenge!
This week's challenge is to use an older cartridge and the colors green and yellow. I am so glad spring is here (even though it has rained a bunch this weekend; but sunny today!) so I thought I would use the Preserves Cartridge for the lemon and the tag shape. I used my 40% coupon at Joannes to purchase the Preserves Cuttlebug Companion Folders to emboss the frame around the green paper. Paper is from Recollections, a little distressed ink, lemon brads, some ribbon, EK Success Label Punch,Peachy Keen "Wide Eyed Kids" Set and of course Emma's Stamp Set: "Turn That Frown Upside Down".

A little organizing with Peachy Keen Faces!
We keep much of our 3 year old's toys in jetmax cubes, which work great for sorting, but now they are even better because I made labels for each bin.
This was quite an undertaking I must say.
The paper came from scraps, and I used many cartridges:Locker
Talk, My World, Boys Will Be Boys, Mini Monograms, Printing 101,Create a Critter and Country Life. I used several Peachy sets too: Everyday Character Faces, Happy Lashes, Monster Mash Faces and Critter Faces. I ran a few pieces through the Cuttlebug and used my Xyron for laminating the finished labels. I could've spent weeks on this adding extra details, but enough is enough:)

A Linky Party! at Craft Junkie Too
I love these linky parties, just post something crafty you have made! How easy is that. Not only that, but there are some awesome projects posted, such great ideas.
I decided to play with vinyl again. Sara needed some thank you gifts for her end of the season choir/drama party. I found these buckets at Michaels for $1.99 each (they are 50% off this week)I used the Hello Kitty Cartridge for the flower, just 3 cuts which is great for vinyl. I just used the colors I had but yellow would have been nice too. Sara made choc. chip cookies to put inside and we made a quick tag using My Pink Stamper Stamps and some punches. Added some ribbon and prima flowers. The one with the music notes was a special request from Sara for her choir director. The music notes came from Hannah Montana Cartridge.

CCCC #17 Give a Hoot at More Than Favors
This challenge included the Give a Hoot cart. Well, I don't have this one yet, so I decided on the owl cut from the Animal Kingdom cartridge. I used the border cut, lots of ribbons, buttons, border punch, white gel pen, and the a couple of sentiments. The sentiment on the front is from My Pink Stamper's "Tweetie Hoo Puns" and the inside sentiment is from Pink by Design's "All in the Family" set.
This was a challenge that didn't come together as planned no matter how many changes I made, but...I decided I was super happy when the connection came together for me...
I have two sisters and I am the oldest and for some reason as I was creating the card, everything was coming together in threes! So I am sending this to one of my baby sisters. So, keep creating, don't give up, you just never know!
Check out the entries over at Paula's More Than Favors!

Throwback Thursday Challenge at My Creative Time with Emma
This weeks challenge had to include the Doodlecharms cartridge,(an oldie but goodie, cuts so easy)and the color blue. I decided on the apple cut and the cute little worm is from Create a Critter cartridge, added some ribbon and stickles. I love using Emma's stamps and this sentiment is from the "I Believe in Leprechauns" set. Since it's the end of the year a teacher appreciation card was in order.

Peachy Keen Let's Face it Friday Challenge: Banner Up!
I am helping a girlfriend with a babyshower and thought this challenge and that project would be perfect. I used Peachy Keen Critter Faces, Everyday Character Faces, DCWV Glitter Stack, Create a Critter Cartridge, Country Life Cartridge for the Banner and font. Some twine, eyelets and my Cropodile (except half way through my project it quit working; how can you break a cropodile?)

Throwback Thursday Challenge
Ok everyone, if you have never entered one of Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenges, you're missing out! This challenge included a 3-Dimensional project. Of course I had many Mother's Day projects to complete, so the vinyl flower pots I created for my mom, sisters and girlfriends were perfect to enter. I actually used the Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge for the flowers and leaves. I also created some tags with Emma's Mom You Rock Stamp Set. These were so fun to create. I used the Tags, Bags Boxes and More Cartridge, Glimmer Mist, lots of distressed ink, prima flowers, sparkling brads, Nestabilities, you get the idea. I filled the pots with flower seeds, gardening gloves and chocolate!
Wacky Wednesday Challenge #37
Hi all, wow what a scrapbooking, crafting, creating week it has been. I love it!
This week over at Paula's More than Favors we had to create a Mother's Day Project.
My Mother's Day was terrific with 4 out of our 5 children for dinner, my grandson, a couple of nieces, sister in law and significant others:) We missed my son Adam as he is working in Texas for a few months:( He was a sweet son and called to chat. It was a great day with hubby giving me some down time to create (and I did).
This project was for my sister in law who we get to see each weekend at family dinner. I decided that in addition to a few other goodies we gave to her, a decorated bottle of wine would just be perfect! I have to say, this is a great project for any occasion. On Saturday I decorated two other bottles for a bridal shower I attended using the Sweethearts Cart bride and groom atire. For this one I just used some scraps, prima flowers and a sentiment from My Creative Time's Mom You Rock Stamp Set.
