Happy Monday everyone and welcome to another challenge over at Exploring Cricut!
This week's challenge is to create a card, layout or project using your Cricut machine and have a "kitchen" theme!. This is going to be a great challenge and I know you are going to want to check out the amazing projects for lots of inspiration.
I am sharing some jars I decorated after canning my strawberry jam and blueberry lime jam.
I used the Preserves cartridge.
Strawberries using all of the layers cut at 2.0"
word art and tags at 1.5"
Added a little embossing and twine
Blueberry tag feature cut at 1.75"
The "lime" brad I have had in my stash for awhile and thought it was a perfect embellishment.
Hope you enjoyed my "kitchen" project and I am hoping you enter this fun challenge!

Birthday Giftcard Holder for MCT Designer's Challenge: Birthday!
Hello and happy Saturday.
Today's project is a gift card holder I created for a friend's recent birthday. It was for a guy, which can typically be a bit trickier for me to pull off.
I started with MCT Embossed Gift Card Holder Die in some DCWV cardstock. It has a newsprint background.
Next I die cut the ice cream cone and "scoops" in vintage cream and dark chocolate cardstock from PTI using MCT Celebrate Good Times stamp and Die Set
The sentiment is also from Celebrate Good Times Set and I stamped that onto MCT Stitched Round Tab Arrow Tag Dies and finished the tag with some button twine from PTI
I added a Starbucks gift card and tied it to a Starbucks mug.
Head on over to MCT Designer's Challenge: Miss Cindy
to see the great birthday projects the DT has created.

Birthday Bash Bday for Exploring Cricut!
Hello and happy Friday. It's almost the weekend and I'm hoping to do a bit of creating...
Today's project is for my post over at Exploring Cricut. Please visit this wonderful blog to find some crafty, Cricut inspiration!
A friend's grandson had his 2nd birthday party not long ago and I thought this cute little elephant would be the perfect image to use and embellish the birthday wrapping. I did a bit of embossing and couldn't resist using some Stickles for a little sparkle! The card was a simple 3.5x3.5" using the phrase feature on the cartridge.
Birthday Bash Cartridge
I cut the elephant at 5.0"
The font was cut at 2.25"
Phrase at 2.0"

Simple Card Set: Fall Colors
Hello all,
Hope your week is going great so far.
I am sharing with you today a set of five cards I made as thank you's for my recent birthday gifts:)
Since I needed to make a few, I decided to use the same design, color scheme and accents to keep it simple.
For my die cuts and sentiments I used various products from My Creative Time
The cards are standard A2 size using Paper Trey Ink Card Stock
Supplies used:
MCT It's All About You Stamp Set
MCT Tab Notes Stamp Set
MCT Stitched 3x4 Journal Die
MCT Stitched Tab Die
MCT Stitched Mini Frame and Arrow Die
I stamped the images in Rich Cocoa ink and added some twine in various color.
Sorry the pictures aren't the best, I took them in the early morning not realizing how dark it would be.
I am also using these cards to play along with the MCT Designer Challenge with Miss Cheryl: Fall Color Inspiration!
Thank you for stopping by.

Back to School! Challenge at Exploring Cricut!
Happy Monday everyone!
Hoping your weekend was fabulous and you had some time to create. We are having a mini heat wave here in northern California...over 100 degrees this past weekend. I am enjoying the last few days of summer!
Today's post is for the new challenge over at Exploring Cricut. This week's challenge is to create a project, card, or layout using your Cricut machine and it must include a Back to School theme and the colors red, green, white, black, orange, and yellow and include one ribbon.
Here is my version of the challenge:
In our school room I have little baskets holding various items that the boys and I use often. Since they are still fairly young, anything visual is helpful so I created these labels for our school goodies.
Our PE basket holding our bean bags and balancing sticks, movement CDs etc..
Nate's ABCs for image and font. "ball" cut at 4.0" including layers. Letters 3.25"
Science basket which holds our magnets, magnifying glasses, etc...
Nate's ABCs for font cut at 2.5". Locker Talk for "lab equipment" image cut at 4.25" including layers.
Math basket holding many of our math manipulatives and flashcards.
Nate's ABCs for the font cut at 2.0". "compass" image from Locker Talk cut at 5.0" including layers.
My favorite is our Nature Journaling basket holding our sketch books, field guides, nature books, bug catchers, etc... for our nature walks.
Image from Nate's ABCs cut at 4.25" including layers. Font cut at 2.0" I just loved this image of a little boy holding his jar with a little bug in it. Reminds me so much of little boys (not just mine:)
Art basket holding some of our regular supplies such as watercolors, brushes, markers, etc...
Nate's ABCs for "paint cut and brushes" image cut 4.0" including layers and font cut at 2.5"
.Have a wonderful crafty day and I can't wait to see what you create for our challenge. Remember to check out Exploring Cricut for the wonderful projects our design team has created!

MCT Designer Challenge: Fall Color Inspiration
My Creative Time Designer's Challenge is the fall color combo inspiration found below.
Create a project of your choice using one, a combo or all of these beautiful fall colors.
Even though we are in a bit of a heat wave here in northern California, I can't help but be excited about my favorite season...Fall.
I used some of my favorite MCT products to create this cute little treat sack.
I started with a little kraft bag.
Next, I used the leaf die found in My Creative Time's Piles of Smiles Stamp and Die Set.( This set is awesome as it includes the stamps and dies!)
I put a few layers of cardstock scraps in the bag so the die wouldn't cut all of the way through and used the leaf die in my Cuttle Bug. Then added a piece of acetate to the inside front of the bag. I tucked a Hershey's Dark Chocolate Miniature Candy Bar inside the bag and used some twine to close it up.
I really wanted to use the "Leaf if to me" sentiment also found in the Piles of Smiles Stamp and Die set.
Another favorite of mine is My Creative Time's Teeny Tag Greetings Stamp and Die Set and used this to stamp the sentiment and tied it on with a bit of button twine.
Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to check out My Creative Time and enter the challenge!

Monogrammed Bridesmaid Cards for Exploring Cricut!
Hello everyone and welcome to my little crafting blog! Today is my day to post for Exploring Cricut and I am sharing some projects I created for a niece's wedding.
The bride's colors were a vibrant purple, orange, a bit of gold and brown with a Rustic Spanish Theme.
She wanted to give her bridesmaids some goodies and these bags were fairly easy to put together. (of course it helps to have a great friend who is so talented when it comes to sewing!)
I created the cards using PTI Cardstock in Vintage Cream for the base and sized at 4x4". I created a little banner for the "thank you" sentiment and used some gold embossing powder for a more elegant look. I also added some tiny pearls and finished with some vintage cream PTI ribbon.
I used the Storybook Cartridge for the classic font. I seem to be drawn to this one over and over. The letters were cut at 2" and embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Folder.
I thought a border would add a nice touch and used my Fiskars Treading Water punch (another oldie but goodie)
The next project were the favors. The bride ordered these authentic Spanish tiles and she wanted satin ribbon around the edges and a little tag with sentiment to display them.
I made the little tags using the TBBM cartridge and cut them at 1". I stamped a sentiment, added some button twine and inked the edges for a rustic look. She displayed them on the napkins at each place setting. Really stunning effect.
The next couple of projects were the escort cards, table signs and seating chart.
Thought it would be fun to share...
Make sure to do something creative today!
And thanks so much for stopping by.
